Music on Hold Question

Howdy

I have trunk #824 log id#24 set up as music on hold, it works ok. When we put a call on hold.

Question
From any phone can we turn on the speaker, dial into the music and just listen to it, without putting anything on hold..?

You can program a background music button on a Partner to listen to music over the speaker. Can you do this on a legend?

Nope. Background music was never considered important on the Legend.

Workaround is to also attach the MOH onto another trunk port. Then either make that dialable, or put an appearance of that line on the phones you want. Now, you can dial in to listen to MOH.

Unfortunately, only 1 person can do it at a time. Unless you create a pool and bridge music onto several trunk ports.
