Music on hold on router 2801

Hi

I have one Call manager and 30 distant sites.
Can i configure the music on hold of the phones in the distants sites on the 2801 router instead of the callmanager.

yes you can. Load the wave file on the router flash, enable multicast if you already don't have and on your router under call-manager-fallback (which is your SRST config) add these two commands:

moh abcdefg.ulaw.wav
multicast moh 239.x.x.x port 16384 route x.x.x.x y.y.y.y

where x.x.x.x is your voice default router and y.y.y.y is your loopback address on your local router.

Doing this actually recommended as you are not backhauling all your MOH traffic. It can be a lot of work however if you change MOH files often.
