We are having minor trouble with our MOH. It does not play for calls that are made from our switch and routed back in. For example, if we dial 9 to get an outside line, then dial the DID for one our VDNs. The call will enter the queue and follow all of the steps of the vector, but will we can not hear the MOH. If we call from a cell phone or phone line not connected to the switch, the MOH can be heard. MOH also works fine when calls are put on hold between internal stations. We use an external MOH cd player, and it is working fine. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Why in the world would you dial the 10 digit VDN DID instead of the extension number?

I'm assuming it's something with trunk to trunk, since each of these calls are using two of them (one for the outbound call, one for the inbound).

Our CS group wants to hear exactly what the customer is hearing. We have tried to explain that they can dial the VDN. They swear that sometimes they are able to hear the MOH.

Thanks.

Are you stripping digits when you dial your own DID's?

Thanks,
CJH
