Has anyone had experience or like a particular brand of MOH for Partner ACS. It should be able to play music and recorded (by the customer)verbage.

Most of the players out there now use a usb stick that will play whatever mp3 you place on the usb. So, you plug the usb stick into your laptop and move whatever music you want onto it, then plug it into the player and it will begin playing those mp3's. Most telco supplies sell them. I don't really think one brand is better than another personally.

MOH, use to be an easy application for interfacing any type of player until the "headset out" jack was replaced with the "universal/MP3 in jack" allowing the client to plug their component directly into the player. Commonly the CD player was ultilized for music-on-hold, now it is not accessible. There are still music components still available but not so widely available. It use to be a quick trip to Walmart or CVS to purchase the unit, now, the "headset out" jack has become illusive.
