Music on Hold extension

Is there a way I can dial an extension and here what is being played for people on hold? If so where do I look to find out the extension it is being transferred to.

on hold, or on hold during a xfer, should be same music. Maybe I don't get the question, but have someone xfer you or put you on hold.

You can dial the ACOD of the RDB and listen to the music

it's not an ext but a one way analog trunk,, that is your music source (or recording).. to hear it call your self and put yourself on hold... i think that is in basic eng 101
