Hi all,
I need some clarification on MUS/RAN routes...
I have a switch with one music trunk in the music route... licensed for 20 music connections. Does broadcast have to be turned on for 20 callers to hear music or is it the licensing/conference loops that allow them to hear it?
For the RAN routes, I have several RAN routes with just one trunk member... my understanding is that means only one caller can be listening to the RAN at a time (see thread798-1369488) and that my two options are to add additional trunks to the RAN route and device, or to turn on broadcasting (if licensed). I'm not familiar with broadcasting, so I'm not sure I follow how this would work.
Can anyone provide further info on either of these two?
Thanks in advance!
