MultiVoip Fax over Voip - CS1000

Has anyone setup the MultiTech MultiVoip analogue fax over Voip,

We have a cust who needs these setting up, we have 20 of these and have set them all up as gateway endpoints with a single DN, they register fine with the Cs1000 NRS we can get Faxes working internally, and can also send externally, but we cannot get the things to except a fax incoming from PSTN, to VOIP,
The issue seems to be with RTP as we get errors when we monitor the MultiVoip kit.

The system is a small release 5 switch with CPPM Callserver, CPPM sigserver and MGController card with 96 dsp DaughterBoard and ISDN30 2MbPRI.

any config help will be much appreciated!

Can you fax internally from the CS1000 to the fax server?

The system has no Falc cards so we can only Fax from Multitech to Multitech MVP130-FXS and this works!

I know nothing about the kit you mentioned, but seeing as it works internally but not from PSTN it may be that you have not activated/installed and T38 fax DSP's. You would be better off asking this question in the Meridian forum.

Do you know where i can find any info On the T38 Fax DSP's? i have searched the Rel 5 Docs and can find nothing!

Oh dear, memory failure I'm afraid, must be getting too old for this! I believe it is part of the zone configuration, I think you have to make sure these DSP's are in the correct zone.

You will find the information in NTP 553-3001-213 IP Peer Networking, Installation and Configuration. Memory not so bad after all..
