Is there a Mitel SIP config guide for this animal? MultiTech MVP210. Didn't see any but thought maybe someone might have some pointers.

Thanks

Never mind, looks like the document on the MVP 130 includes some references to the 210. Thanks anyhow

hi

there is a interop doc on the 210 inself,... in fact 2!! One for sip trunk integration and 1 for Sip lineside integration.

You got access to MOL?

Yup! Found it. Thanks!!

The 210 looks like heavy overkill. I'm only needing a cheap 1 or 2 channel ATA. something like the Linksys SPA2102. but our mgmt wanted us to look at the 210 anyway.

In the 210 it appears I need to actually build a "phone book" in the device before we can use it (and no way to use it without phonebook entries) - or did I miss something?

I don't have any experience with the Linksys or Multitech device.. for what it's worth...

Look into Grandstream. The HT286 is very easy to program against a Mitel 3300. Gives a single analog port.

I'm not thrilled about the company's responsiveness from both sales and technical support, but for the most part the devices are very easy to program.

If anyone is interested send me a personal message with your email address, and I can get .pdf printouts of a config.

Thanks. I took a look at the online docs. Looks interesting. Judging the book by it's cover, this looks like the setup is similar to the LinkSys but at less than 1/2 the cost. I'm all in favor of a simple 'throwaway' device and this qualifies. Also on a sub-$30 device the lack of product support is a non-issue. My time is better spent elsewhere than on the phone. If it works, fine. If it doesn't, toss it.

I'll look into picking up one.

Special thanks to you Mark. I ordered a Grandstream HT286 on Wednesday (VOIP Warehouse), paid for 2-day shipping and got it at noon today, had it up and running about 20 minutes later w/no prior experience with it. I reused the profile on the 3300 that I had created for the Linksys. For less than $30 this is sweet!

Curious what support issues you've run into with it, since you mentioned product support being bad.

Thanks again and a * for you!!
