Hi All,
Has anyone had any experience in configuring an IIS 4.0 for a multiprocessor machine ??
I have recently upgraded my NT 4.0 server from a single processor to a dual processor and also upgraded the RAM from 512 Mb to 1 Gb. But my application does'nt seem to be performing as i expected.
I figure there needs to be some configuration also done on the IIS to support for the dual processor.
Could someone help me on this please ??
Thanks in advance
Ashish

Does NT definately see the second processor? Look in Task Manager -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"

IIS doesn't need to be configured - but the HAL does. You need to run a utility called uptomp.exe, available with the resource kit to get NT to see the new proc.

I hope this helps
