multipost = several user can connect to the application at the same time

If you're using templates to generate your application then the application itself will handle multi-user issues associated with checking checking for changes on disk when you save a record.

If you're worried about file corruption of desktop database's (probably a .TPS) then you need to be concerned about OpLocks (Opputunistic Locking),

There is some source code available if you wish to write
something inside of your application to handle checking and/or changing the appropriate registry entries.
