Have a client who wants to have multiply MOH sources on 3300 controller MXe 3300, (MCD 4.1sp2 (dual E1 isdn, indial). Request is for separate MOH for ACD path and agent to cater each business department, sales, service etc.

Have never attempted this before on standalone 3300 (Have done with Int Queue) and reading through help, tenanting may provide the answer but not clear??

I'm presuming tenanting (similar to interconnect restrictions), can allow calling between tenants and I'd imagine there are limitations / quirks of MOH, which audio source is played when caller are transferred between extensions in different tenants etc.

Any info would be appreciated......

Assuming you intend to use embedded MOH

Tenanting is not required for unique MOH while in queue for ACD. Each queue can be specified to play a specific MOH file.

Tenanting can control what MOH file will be used when the set uses the "Red Key" hold.

For my customers I recommend generic music for the system (Red Key) hold and only specify unique messages while in queue.

kwbMitel - Would you mind describing how I can do this? This could be really useful.
