Multiplication errors 1

I have two fields, Quantity, Total. Quantity is an integer, Total is a decimal (9,2) A sum of 10*3.00 arrives at 31.20. Any ideas, thanks.

Works OK for me (versions 5.0 and 4.1). Can you give some more details?

Thanks John for veryfying decimal 9,2 being okay. I found my problem was due to the currency amount being multiplied by a wrong records quantity. Having you quantify it made me find it rather than ripping things to pieces and finding something else. Thanks again
