Multiplexing on large filesytem, possible?

It will do it if you ask it !
If you set the default "All" saveset on the client ressource it won't work.
To make it works you'll have to specify each directory of this large file system as a saveset (not so good if you create a new directory...).
Use it only if the hardware where this filesystem resides can generate high throughtput (if its a single IDE drive, disk heads are going to burn !

Then parallelism and target sessions must be configured to allow multiplexing.
Not harder than that.
