Will Legato stream to multiple tapes from a single large filesystem? Or will it only write to one tape? TIA. I am unable to test this because of existing schedule.

It will do it if you ask it !

If you set the default "All" saveset on the client ressource it won't work.
To make it works you'll have to specify each directory of this large file system as a saveset (not so good if you create a new directory...).
Use it only if the hardware where this filesystem resides can generate high throughtput (if its a single IDE drive, disk heads are going to burn ! ;) )

Then parallelism and target sessions must be configured to allow multiplexing.

Not harder than that.

Hope this helps.
