When I have multiple windows of the same application open on the desktop (ie folder viewer or internet explorer) I used to get different buttons for them on the taskbar. However, now, once I have opened say 2 or 3 I now get one button but a number in red on the button indicating how many windows I have open. By left clicking on the button it shows a summary of what windows are active.

Any ideas how to restore the original setting?

Thanks,

Nick.

Right Click on the Task bar, and uncheck the "Group similar task bar buttons".

Should do the trick
