I apologize in advance for the length.

I have a small company <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> host my own site, we are always connected via 128k isdn. Our name is registered with internic and i have a static ip from my isp.

I have had many requests by my staff to make our files avail. over the web. So I designed an intranet site which I would like to make accesable over the web and call it <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> thought I could do it with the single static ip I already had, but I was told it wasn't possible.

So, I called my isp to request another static ip. I was denied. My only option was to purchase another dialup account(56k a cheap one)just so they would issue the second ip. I called the company that previously hosted my site and they made a DNS entry for me private.mycompany.com pointing to the new address.

This is where my problem lies. I tried to give my isdn adapter the second ip in the DUN properties but that option didn't exist. I manually entered the second ip in the iis5 website properties page where you can specify the address to listen on. I tried to visit the site and ping the address, but I got host unreachable. I started to think that because I didn't dial in using the second address my isp doesn't know where to route requests.

Should private.mycompany.com's DNS entry point to my first ip address and then use ip forwarding ? If so what is the proper way to set it up ? Or is there something else I'm doing wrong.

I am running Windows2000 server.

I again apologize for the length, but I wanted to include all the info that I could.
