my wife and i both work for 'company x'...we both need our vpn connections on many nights, and currently, we are connected through a linksys 54g wireless router. when i connect, all is well, but she is unable to, and visa versa. i searched the forums, but none of the answers here seemed to quite suit my predicament....

would a router like this,
,with multiple vpn tunnels, allow us BOTH to connect to our workplace at the same time from the same ip address?

thanks in advance!

Lets say you are using Cisco VPN client software. the problem is that you are natting to a single external address and when you establish the VPN link you are assigned a virtual IP address based on that source IP address. It cannot setup two tunnels with the same source IP address. What you might want to consider doing is to setup a Cisco router to work as the VPN client and establish the VPN connection with that router. Then you should be able to access the office network with any device on your network. You want to set this up so that when not in use the VPN connection will terminate. Kind of like dial on demand routing. There may be other methods for this but this is what comes to mind.
