multiple vpn connections other different profiles in xp

Hello I was wondering if someone can tell me if it is possible to have mutliple vpn connections using XP home edition and different profiles?

You can store different VPN connections, but can only use one at a time in XP

So if I have two user profiles in XP I can store 2 different VPN connections and toggle between them when user 1 logs and uses profile A and user 2 uses profile B they can both use their VPN connection setups, but not simaltaneously, right?

How about if the VPN connection software is both of different versions, would that make a difference?

Because I've got 2 profiles and initally I had one VPN connection, but when I added the 2nd one neither profile was successfully able to connect using their VPN connection.
