Hello,

We currently utilize Nortel Convitiy VPN client V05.

Does anyone have experience utlizing more that one vpn client software installed on a single laptop.

I know it's probably not best practice, but I would like to get an guage from other's expereince if it's a problem.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

I wouldn't try it unless you want to start fighting BSODs.

It is hit or miss, some clients will install together, but most wont. I've used virtual PCs in the past when I've need multiple VPN clients.

Yes, we have experimented with this extensively with Cisco and Nortel clients. You can not run the two clients on the same O/S because of the ports that it binds. Conflict of resources. Nsantin is correct in saying a virtual O/S is necessary to load the second client on (or of course, uninstalling one of them). Sorry we didnt have better news.
