I've created a report with multiple tables and a single value parameter for CoID. There are 4 different queries for the 8 tables on the report, so what I did was add a filter for each table for the CoID parameter.
This works great.....however,

Now I need to run the report for multiple CoID's. I've change the CoID to allows multiple values and changed the filter on each table to {CoID_field} IN @CoID. When I run the report (the 8 tables should produce 5 pages), and select 2 CoID's, I only get one report for the last CoID.

What would be the best way to get a full report for each value in the CoID parameter? In other words, I need a 5page report for CoID#1, then 5 pages for CoID#2, etc.

Thank you
Sam

You need to put the whole report ie all the tables etc in a List item (think these are actually just tables in 2008) and use a group by CoID - this will generate teh same report effectively for each row in the table (CoID)

Thanks for the quick reply.
The List(Tablix) appears to work, but gives an error like:

>>Table2’ has a detail member with inner members. Detail members can only contain static inner members.

Doing the same thing in a Table (also a Tablix) and deleting the detail row and using just the header rows, seems to do the job.

FWIW - If anyone does something like this be aware that the nested tables/charts use the dataset of the outer table and it doesn't look like this can be changed. I've had to use multiple container tables to accommodate the different datasets used.

I've had that error before - normally from trying to drag pre-created items into a tablix as I'm assuming you have done - the issue is normally to do with having a group set on your table / chart that is the same as the group that you are using in the List/Tablix - you only need the group in the list as that takes care of any child grouping as well...
