How do I use multiple value parameter in record selection criteria?

my multiple value parameter is qparmAssetNbr
and it should be compaired to my database field ast_nmbr

Have you tried:

{ast_nmbr} = {?qparmAssetNbr}

after defining the parameter as Multiple, discrete

Turk's solution should work fine for you, however if you get numerous parameters you might find that the SQL isn't passing, so take a look at my Whitepaper:
