Multiple users syncing to one Datebook?

I need to have two users (the boss and his admin) sync to one copy of his datebook. The file is on the server in a directory they both have access to. I have tried to point her copy of Palm Desktop to it, but it's a no go. Does anyone know how I can do this?

to Palm. Its a good program but somewhat slower than the new Palm Desktop ver.4
Anyone knows of any networkcapable PIM other than outlook to syncronize with Palm?
