We have staff here who share a desk/telephone. Does anyone know if its possible on a Meridian 11c system to use two configurations on the one handset so that these users can ahve their own number and voicemail etc?

Any assistance would be welcome

Thanks

Paul.

Hi Paul,

If it is a digital phone, yes you can have 2 extensions on one phone. Also, if you are release 24 are higher, you have have separate message waiting keys for the different mailboxes to indicated which mailbox has messages waiting.

We have digital phones and the latest version of the software. How do I go about setting this up ?

Paul.

Depending on which release of software you are using, you could set the phone up as a host phone e.g m3903H and then program the users as virtual ( phantom extensions m3903V's. Set two feature codes in ld 57 vtln and vtlf ( Virtual login / out ) set the hunts and efd's eht's etc on the vitual phones to hit voicemail if not logged in and hey presto job done

How many lines on the Phone? What type 2600 series, 3900 serits?

If the prior answer helped you, you neen not reply.

Good Luck,

I am using 3903's. I have configured a host phone ok but when I try to configure the Virtual phone I am having difficulty. I am using Phonemaster, a third party interface for making modifications. When configuring the Virtual phone there are no TN's available and the settings cannot be saved without assigning a TN.

Any Ideas ?

Paul.

You have to create new phantom superloop
LD97
CHG
SUPL
n156

where n - indicates that it will be Phantom loop
156 must be non exiting superloop number and it must be k*4 number

Then when you'll create first 3903V profile on virtual card of this virtual loop all ports on this card will become 3903V type

Thanks for the reply. My next question is - how do I create a superloop? Unfortunately I would be regarded as a novice user when it comes to the Meridian system. Is it possible to download instructions/manuals or can anyone recommend a good book on this system ?

Regards

Paul.
