Multiple users and Units 1

Hi-I work on a magazine with two other designers. As I'm placing ads, I use inches but our art director uses picas. Every time she or I open a file, we have to manually switch the units. Is there a way for me to always see a file in inches and she in picas without having to reset every time?

...this can annoy me too, with dealing with other peoples artwork in a prepress environment...

...the quickest way i found is to right click the rulers as opposed to going into preferences...

...other than that, i think you both need to work in the same units when you save the file...

I agree with Andrew. You should be using the same measurement system. As the conversion from mm to picas always loses a couple of decimals (or gains) so each time the document is saved and opened it is different. It will just lead to problems in the long run.
