Hi,
I don’t know if this is possible I have been asked to program a speed dial on all the phones on my work as a speed dial for security, I have different types of phones all over the place (410, 430, 4025, 4050, 5224 IP), what I’m doing right now is a manual User speedcall, I have over 300 phones on each location, is there any one to do a massive programming? I’m using the top left button on each phone as standard.

If I knew your system type and software level...

kwbMitel,

sorry I forgot to put the system: 3300 ICP not sure what you mean software level.

If your software level is 7.0 or higher you can use .csv files to import the key data. Very quick and simple.

Prior to rel 7.0, your options are severely limited.

I have rel vid7.40 8.0.8.8

What I did was export the Multi Set Key Assignment to a .csv file as you recommend, I can see all the Line types for my DNI sets, the only worry that I have is if I modify all the sets that I need and leave alone the ones that are programmed already (Some are for the call center) when I import the new .csv file there would be no errors or missing keys. In other words how reliable is to import something and not screw what is in place already.

Take the export you have and delete all the lines you do not want to Import. Alternatively, create a copy, delete all of the keys and then copy only the lines you want to import from the original.

In other words, the import can be used to import just 1 key to 1 phone or all keys to all phones and everywhere in between.

What I would do. Create the key on 1 set of each set type. Export that set only. Delete all keys except the 1 you want. If you have 10 phones of that type, copy the row 10 times and edit the extension number field. Import and move on to the next set type.

kwbMitel,

Thank you for your replay I will do what you suggest.

Or go to the multi line set key assigment and assign the key
Then click on copy keys and select the one key

Then enter the extensions you want to have that key

You can add tanges by this way: 1000-1999

This way 999 extension will have the key

TLpeter, your method works fine when they are all the same set type. In the original post, you'll note there are many set types in use here. The copy becomes more difficult the more set types you have.
