Hi All,

I have a cube with 3 time dimensions and most of the analysis is done between time dimensions (say order_date and shipment_date)

While drilling into details, it becomes very confusing to keep track of the categories in these dimensions(2003 Q1 : is it order_date or shipment_date). The end-users are not always happy with the "Explain" information. Is there a way to keep on attaching dimension label with all categories or any alternate approach to minimize cofusion.

Any help is much appreciated
Thanks

You could create a calculated column for each of the levels in each of you time dimension that would string together the dimension name and the time level description and add this as a label for the level (keeping the same column as the source).

For example, create a column that contains a calculation to give you something like "shipment year 2004", another that would contain a description like "order month March 2005" etc
