multiple text blocks

Is there a way to highlight more than one text blocl at the same time and then apply some action to all of the highlighted blocks.
For example, suppose I want to change a number of unlike text blocks to the same type size, leading etc.
I want to keep these as separate text blocks for other manupulation.
Please help.
