I am trying to implement the following code (jscript):

mobjRecordSet.Fields("AppraisalDate") = frmCatalog.txtAppraisalDate.value;

and when I do, I get the error indicated in the title. It only happens with this date field (appraisaldate is a column in the database). If I am updating a regular text field (e.g. mobjRecordSet.Fields("Location") = frmCatalog.txtLocation.value;), it works fine without any errors. Please help! Thanks.
