I have a customer that has a ACS 8.0 and has stations off the system in three separate buildings all about 50 feet apart.
The question is this. If lets say Px 15 and Px 16 are both in bldg # 1 [ separate offices within ]. Now Px 15 makes a call via the intercom to Px 20 which is in building # 2 and are talking fine. Now Px 16 would like to be part of that conversation on the intercom at her station but cannot. Is there a way to have more than 2 stations on the same intercom call . Voice interrupt on busy will not do it for them since basically they want a conference call via the intercom paths and they just want to be part of the conversation. Is this just the nature of the beast or is there a solution. I have tried several tricks and searched the forum but no luck . Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You can't barge into an Intercom call like you can on an outside call if privacy is disabled on the extension already on the call. However, either of the parties on the Intercom call can press Conference, the other intercom button, call the party you want to add to the call, and when they answer press Conference again.

TTT...As always "you are the man".... My mistake was I was approaching the conference from the 3rd party wanting to join the call in progress instead of the 2 stations already talking inviting the 3rd party into the conference. Live & learn.
A star for you!
Thanks
