I have a web server that runs multiple web sites using host headers. Of those sites, I have 2 sites that require SSL certs. I am using different ports for this. When requesting site it is set to redirect to a second site on the server which is configures with a SSL cert for that site name and the browser never sees the redirect and this works fine. It is using port 443 If you directly request , it goes there without a problem.

The second site was setup the same… 2 sites on the server with redirect. When requesting it will automatically direct you to :1443/. The problem is when you directly request the site securely (type in the address bar) you are directed to with that sites SSL certificate and their site content!
