Hi.
I'm new to VSS, so please bear with me if this is an inane question... ;-)
I have a number of servers that are in different locations yet run the same applications. I use VSS to ensure that we have a history of changes to the code used in these apps. We use one master machine that is the source of the files for VSS. However, after checking out and checking back in a file, I need this new updated file to be replicated across the rest of the machines. Basically, I need to keep all of the code on all of the machines in sync.
I thought shadow folders would be perfect as they copy the file to the location specified on check-in. However it seems that you can only have 1 shadow folder per project. Is there a way in VSS to enable the functionality of copying the latest version of a file to multiple places on check-in?
Cheers,
K.
