I have a multi-partioned server with different 16-bit Oracle apps on my N:, O:, P:, Q: drives. When a user accesses the app existing on the N: drive via published app/web client, the win.ini in the user's profile points to the oracle.ini file on the N: drive. If he logs in to a second session using the same profile but hitting the Oracle on the O: drive, the win.ini changes to O:, etc.
Here's my question. Is the profile from the first session stored in cache and even though the win.ini has changed, does the first session retain it's setting pointing to the N: drive? Same question for subsequent sessions? Thanks for any help.
