Multiple , Segmented, Telephone Directories.

We have one mitel 3300 and our attendant/VM server is nupoint.

I am setting up a call flow for one of our departments. They would like people calling the dialin number to not be able to find other users in the telephone directory.. only people in his department.

I think I have heard of this before but it was not a simple process.. thoughts?

GCOS can do this, but it works both ways, meaning callers to other flows in other GCOS' will not be able to find those boxes in the directory either.

Thanks Lundah! How would that affect calls between users in different GCOSs?

GCOS is a NuPoint setting, so it would only impact calls that involve NuPoint. So Bob (GCOS 1) can call Alice (GCOS 2), and get forwarded to her VM box if she does not answer, but Alice would not be able to give messages from her mailbox to Bob. Check the documentation on the specifics, it's been a while since I've worked with it.
