Can I get a WIn2K PC to hold 9 different email accounts but have them be prompted for a username and password WITHOUT have to login in and out of WIN2K? I have programs that need to run in the background and dont want to have all the shift foreman have to login and out of our AS400 a bunch of times just to get their mail. i would like to have Outlook prompt for a profile and password each time it is accessed and not have to loose my 400 sessions. any ideas? Thanks!!!
Alex

You create an Outlook profile for each account needed and then in Outlook select Tools|Options... and on the Mail Services tab set the radio button to 'Prompt for profile to be used'.

ChrisHirst has the correct suggestion but you will also need to set Outlook's Logon Network Security to NONE otherwise the foremen won't get validated correctly to access the mailbox on the Exchange server. (I am assuming there is an Exchange server involved in your e-mail environment.)

The option is found under TOOLS - SERVICES. Select the Microsoft Exchange Server component, click on PROPERTIES and then ADVANCED. joegz
