I apologize for my ignorance.... but many years ago, we worked with a client that was running SCO UNIX and they were able to toggle between multiple screens... multiple # signs....

What configuration would I need to be able to do this?

If you are on the console, you just use the ALT-F3 (or ALT-F12, etc) to toggle to the multiple sessions. If you are on a dumb terminal, you needed to configure MultiScreen (mscreen), which I haven't played with for 5 years or more.

With one caution. [ALT][F2] or bootup may take you into a graphical environment that will require you to do a [CTRL]+[ALT]+[FUNCTION KEY] to move to another screen. At the non-graphical screens [ALT]+[FUNCTION KEY] does as motoslide details.

Give the wrong symptoms, get the wrong solutions.

If, when you do the [ALT][F2] you get the graphical enviroment and you would like to disable it, type on the # sign the command "scologin disable"

Thanks, friends.... we've heard about mscreen and are looking into that. We'll be back.

Hi CathodeRay,
For use on dumbterminals, there is a software called FACETERM by facet corp in Dallas that will alow you to use multiple screens on serial terminals. You may have to install additional RAM depending on number of users.
