one of my sites has 50 RLIs. They have ONE T1 and ONE backup (copper) rout. Someone else configured this as it was like this when I arrived. Each RLI had its own FCAS table blocking 976. I have removed all the FCAS tables and blocked 976 right on the area codes in LD 90. EACH of these FIFTY RLIs is identical. First choice T1, second choice copper, FRL 4, DMI 0, etc. Why would I need 50 RLIs? Can't I elimate a bunch of these and put all my L.D. area codes down ONE RLI? It's an option 11. It's not like it's some big switch with a million users and restrictions. Everyone has an NCOS 0 and they ALL enter auth codes to bring them to NCOS 4. There are 100 people in that office. I'd like to clean this up. Please give me your advice. Thank you.

Check to make sure that there are no DMI or INST or DEL entries that would be in place if alternative dialing methods are needed, but I did the same thing. I now have 5 RLB that I use.

You can remove a couple of them each day to see who screams. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is for permission.

It could be they are leftover from a previous configuration and the tech was to lazy to clean up the mess. I have seen it before. But check to make sure what is to be working and what is not. This can take some time, to analyze what is and what is not used. I used to have an old SL1-NT that I took care of with tie-trunks going to originally 5 locations. It took a year to figure all of the stuff out because some things had been changed but other stuff was left in place, so there was bits and pieces here and there...
