So, unless I am mistaken, I thought that in Server 2003, there were two default connections available via a Remote Desktop connection. I also thought both of these connections can be used simultaneously. In Server 2008, it seems I am only able to have one concurrent connection, and what's worse, is instead of denying the new connection, it is ending the current one to grant access to the new one (in other words, if I am logged into my server via remote desktop, and someone else initiates a connection, I get booted). So, my question is, how do I either:
A) Enable multiple connections to my 2008 Windows Server (Standard), without purchasing terminal service licenses?
B) Stop a new connection from ending a current one? If I am only able to have one connection, I want the current connection to have priority over a new one.
C) Purchase an additional Terminal Services license? Where would I get pricing for them? Unfortunately I work for a non-profit organization, so money is always an issue.
Thanks in advance for any replies!
