multiple RDP users shadowing one session

Hi All

Trying to get one install engineer's session shadowed by 2-3 other users so they can see what's going on. Anyone know how to do it?

Have everyone log in via RDP. Have the people who are going to shaddow open up the terminal services manager, and right click on the session of the person they wish to monitor. One of the options will be shaddow or monitor, etc.

Wow that would be great - so you've done this?

Reason I'm asking is I tried connecting as the administrator got rdp connection 2. Made up test1, test2, test3 users as local admins. In cmdline issued shadow 2 - worked for the first one. Got access denied for the 2nd.

I've checked the server config - had allow multiple sessions by one person turned on.

In the local policy I had session control set to 'allow viewing session without permission'.

I've never done it with more than one person shaddowing.

Try having test2 shaddow test1, then have test3 shaddow test2.
