I Have created 4 tables in ms access 97 I have no problems linking. My questions is how do I link all 4 tables in a query so I can have all the fields about 535 show on one screen with button and controls. I was thinking that I could have the form with tabs. Any suggestions....

thanks

535 fields/!?? What kind of database could POSSIBLY demand so many fields?!???????!!? That's insane! I suspect that you may need to revisit your data normalization techniques because it sounds like something is very wrong with the design of your DB. I'm sure there is a more efficient way of doing what you're after.

PS - You can't put all 4 in a query, you'll hit the 255 limit and there's no way around it. Joe Miller

I agree 1000% with Joe. About the only way to do this would be with MULTIPLE queries showing the data on MULTIPLE forms (tabs???). Either way, if I was a user of your DB, I would be thinking of all sorts of ways of getting back at you... Terry M. Hoey
