Multiple programs when events happen

hello
we are running openview 7.0. At present, when a particular event happens - an external program is run. This works fine.
However what I'd like to do is run 2 programs i.e. the external program and then another one afterwards.
I tried putting in the program names seperated by a colon in the appropriate section (when configuring an event) but no luck.
Is there a way to do this ? Please advise.

Hi,

Have you tired getting the first program to call the second program (if you have written the program file yourself) ?

Otherwise, you might like to write a batch or shell script to call both programs, and call the script from the event.

You will need to handle the parameters from the event in your script.
