I am wanting to have muktiple email profiles setup on a windows 2000 machine. I set it all up with the multiple profiles while i am logged on as administrator, however when the other new users log onto the system it wants to setup Outlook from scratch again....how do i resolve this?

Thanks

Scott

The Outlook user profile information gets put in the HKEY_Current_User section of the registry. This means that you can only setup the Outlook profile while the person who it is for is logged on....sorry. joegz

Joegz is right as usual. To resolve your situation, you would have to log in as each user to build their profile.

You could use the profgen\newprof\modiprof tools from the resource kits deployed in a batch file to run once at logon for each user. Personally I find it is easier to logon as that user and set everything up.
