Hi guys

Hope you can help me out.

I have a huge that I am putting together and there are in the region of 100 pie charts.

Each time I put a chart into the word document it takes the excel spreadsheet with it ( it if I double click on the chart it opens the excel workbook that the chart is based on) This is causing me major issues as it won't save at the 'disk is full'.

How can I only embed the graphs without all the excel 'rubbish' behind it?

Thanks in advance for any assistance Lloyd Gozzett

Copy the chart as you normally would in Excel, but when you go to paste it into Word, choose Edit, Paste Special, and paste it as a picture. Make sure the "Linked" option in the Paste Special box is NOT checked. This will paste it as a picture in your Word document, and when you double-click it you will get the Format Picture dialog box, not the data in Excel.
