Last year, I installed a BEFSR11 router at the office to share DSL internet connection and forward incomming traffic to our mail, ftp and http servers.
Now I need to connect to our RAS server via VPN. Checking Linksys KB I found out that these routers allow only one PPTP connection at a time.
After calling support they told me to upgrade the firmware from version 1.44.3 to 1.45.7 which would fix the multiple PPTP VPN pass-through connection.
I did the upgrade but nothing changed, I can only make one connection at a time.
Is there anybody that has gone through the same problem and fixed it?
Am I doing something wrong here or perhaps not applying the right settings?
I took a look at some other more sophisticated Linksys routers that support 50 VPN connections (endpoints) at a time, but they only allow one PPTP session at a time, I guess they allow multiple L2TP/IPSec at a time, but my RAS is a NT 4 machine.
Anybody knows about any router that supports multiple PPTP pass-through connections?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Aldi
