Does anyone know if you can create multiple page docs in Illustrator?

This might help. You can set up an Illustrator file to print more than one document at a time. I personally have never tried this, but there is someone I work with that has shown me this technique.

First you have to determine the page size your printer prints at, then how many pages that you will have per file. Once that is determined you then set your artboard at a dimension that can accomodate all of the pages. (i.e. if you want to print two pages 8.5 X 11, set up your artboard dimensions to be 8.5 X 22). Once your artboard is big enough then under Document Setup check the Tile Full Pages option and Illustrator will
divide the artboard into one or more rectangles that correspond to the page size available on your printer.

Be careful though that you follow the boundaries of the page grid so that none of your artwork falls outside of the printing area.

Hope this helps.

Alternatly you can use layers to simulate pages. (ie a different layer for each page).
