Hi all, just would like to know If it is possible... and if so, how to create a purely side by side page layout, as what i am designing is a brochure and in this brochure a picture spreads across three pages so to place the image in InDesign i need to have my three pages side by side. Can anyone tell me how i can go about doing this ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS Im on mac (If it makes a difference).

Cheers

Paul

Whether you're working with a spread or single pages, this is simpler than you may think.

In the pages Panel/Palette (whatever they call it)

use the FLY arrow at the right of the panel to reveal some commands.

From here, turn off, Allow Pages to Shuffle. This will allow you to put up to 10 Pages Side by side.

If you need 20 pages, the simply double the size of your page width and then start doing guides.

Hi Paul,
If you go into the 'windows' drop down menu in the menu bar, select "pages' which opens the pane that allows you to see the page layout, click on the arrow at the top LHS it'll open the drop down menu, tick 'allow pages to shuffle' .This will allow you to drag the page icons onto each other (ie drag page 2 & 3 on to Page 1)to create a multiple page spread that you can drag your image across.

Hope this helps.

Good luck,
Jane
