Multiple ODBC connections?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there is a problem having multiple, simultaneous ODBC connections to one database? Naturally I understand there would be problems if all users were reading or writing to the same area, but I`m talking about multiple connections to one database, but users only accessing their own tables within the database.

Hi,

I guess thats no problem. You can have as much connection as you described in your configurations or the limitation of the DB. For Informix you configure them in the onconfig and Oracle will accept up to OS Limittations (i guess) or Licence Limitations.
