I have a puzzling question, and can't seem to find an answer. I am the tech coordinator for a school district. We have W2K servers and workstations with active directory and roaming profiles. The size of the profiles suddely grown extremely large. When I check the folders, I see multiple NTUser files (.001, .0AE, .002). Some users will have 2-3000 of them! What is causing this? I scan the server and delete all of the extra files, but they come back. This is happening to students, teachers, high school PCs, middle school PCs. There doesn't seem to be a pattern.
Please help! These extra files are filling up my hard drive. I just scanned and found 3,000 extras
