Multiple News Web Parts

We have a requirement to display different categories of news items in different news web parts, rather then just grouping all category of news in one web part as is normal in SP.

Example: -

A news web part showing organisational news items.

A news web part showing divisional news items.

A news web part showing department news items.

Is this possible and if so how ?
(Alternative solutions welcome.)

Make 3 news lists. That will seperate them and give you 3 webparts 1 for each list.

I've created 3 news web parts but they all show the same news items. Can I filter the news web parts so that they each show a specific 'category' of news ?

Ofcourse they show the same thing, thats why i told you to create 3 NEW lists. And use the related webparts. But after thinking about it it is much easier to you alter the webpart view.
Goto: Modify Shared Webpart (press the little triangle) then press edit the current view in the toolpane, there youll be able to specify a custom view, like filtering on your category. To this for a 3 webparts and your done.
