During normal operation under WIndows NT 4 I find that my shared network drives have mapped to a number of different letters. This happens without me mapping the drive to a new letter. This can happen so often that all the available drive letters are allocated. When I log off the drive letters are disconnected.

I have viewed MicroSoft article Q150604 which tells me that insalling Service Pack 3 will cure this problem. I am currently on SP6 and still have the problem.

Any suggestions as to what is causing this and how I can reslove the problem.

Many Thanks

i've seen that on win2k workstations. for some strange reason they have like 10 drives mapped to the paint shop pro share.

looking on google apparently having findfast from office running can cause it.

do u have that? ===============
