I have multiple logon IDs at a web site (Lycos). All of the IDs are "remembered", some along with passwords. Unfortunatly, there are also several "typos" remembered. Where are these IDs stored, and how do I delete the typos?

Also, when the message comes up "Do you want Windows to remember this user id and password?" it doesn't always work or sometimes I click on the wrong button. After that, the message no longer comes up for that user id. How do I reset that?

If Windows XP:
Start button, Run, control userpasswords2

The edits can be made under the Advanced tab, the top input box.

Just visit one of the web sites and click in the logon field. When the possible choices display, hold your mouse over the mistyped id (don't click), then hit the delete key on your keyboard.

In general, the settings for this feature can be found in IE, Tools, Internet Options, Content tab, AutoComplete button.

Some websites will not allow your username to be stored for security reasons.
