The PBX version is 5.2.1.

I have a situation where I am trying to merge two PBX's into 1 with multiple locations.

At the original location, 0 had been set up as an x-ported extension so that it can have a coverage path which points to a VDN so that there can be time of day and holiday routing etc. This is location 1 and the receptionist has an actual 302 console.

At location 2, there is is no 302 and we are trying to use a 9630 as the receptionist station. There are no digital line cards in this gateway so we can not use a 302 here.

I am trying to program the switch so that if a customer dials 0 at location 1 it will go to the operator at location 1 and if they dial 0 from location 2 it will go to the operator at location 2.

Since 0 is an extension in the dial plan, there does not appear to be anything that I can do since the call will always try to go to the extension first.

I did try to configure dial plan analysys for location 2 but the only option that I have is UDP.

Are these two locations two seprate Communications Managers or is it a single CM with remote gateways?

Hi

Did you get a resolution for your issue.I have 2 receptions and need to dial 0 from location 1 and get reception 1 and dial 0 from location 2 and get reception 2.its a cm 5.2.any help appreciated

Are you using Attendant Vectoring VDN's?

Modify your tenant change tenant x (add an Attendant Vectoring VDN - near the bottom of the screen)... Then in the vector point it the station you want to use for the 'attendant'.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

hi

thanks for the response,i would like when you press zero in location 1 you get reception at site 1 which is i.e extension 100 and when you press 0 in location 2 you get reception 2 which is i.e extension 200.its the one pbx with different locations but they are not using attendants

OK This is what I've done. Dial plan analysis below:

DIAL PLAN ANALYSIS TABLE
Percent Full: 11

Dialed Total Call Dialed Total Call Dialed Total Call
String Length Type String Length Type String Length Type
0 1 attd
0 2 ext
I set this up at both locations. My Attendants are translated as Listed Directory Numbers. So to get to the other attendant I dial 00. This is a two digit extension see second entry above. This extension is call forwarded to the LDN.

This works well for me.

1a2 to ip I seen it all

You have to use the locations prefixes

do change locations and put a number in every location prefix like loc1=1001 loc2=1002 loc 3=1003

then in the und you say

0 lengt 1 rem 1 insert L4

The L4 means the first four digits of your location.

So in every location/region if you dial 0 it goes to a diferent number.......

Butyou need to set your locations and networkregions etc etc right....
